This policy explains what the mobile game TearCraft collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers the versions of the game distributed through the App Store and Google Play, and this website.
1. Who we are
TearCraft is made and operated by Isaev LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA, at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. For anything in this policy, write to privacy@isaevlabs.com. Isaev LLC is the data controller for the processing described here.
2. This website
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and no advertising trackers, and writes nothing to your device. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp) for a short period for security and abuse prevention. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request needed to deliver the font files.
3. What the game collects
Diagnostics and gameplay analytics
The game sends events to our own server so we can see whether it runs well and which parts of it people actually use. Each event carries:
- a device identifier generated by the game itself — a random value, not your advertising ID and not any identifier assigned by Apple or Google;
- a session identifier, the game version and the platform;
- device model and operating system version;
- performance measurements such as frame time and load duration;
- gameplay events — for example that a world was opened, a tool was used or a session ended;
- the country your request came from, derived from your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself alongside these events.
These events are stored for two years and then deleted automatically.
Account, if you create one
Signing in is optional; the game is fully playable without it. If you sign in with Google, we store your email address and the stable account identifier Google issues for our app, so that your progress can follow you to another device. We do not store your Google profile name — the nickname other players see is the one you choose in the game. We never receive your password. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete the account.
Worlds and creations
Worlds you build are saved on your device. If you choose to publish one, its contents and the name you gave it are uploaded to our servers so other players can load it. Publishing is always an explicit action — nothing is uploaded because you built it.
Session recording
The game contains a diagnostic feature that records short video clips of the game screen and uploads them to our storage, so we can reproduce crashes and rendering faults. It is disabled by default and is only ever enabled for a limited group of players for a specific investigation. The recording covers the game screen only — never anything else on your device, your camera or your microphone. Clips are deleted automatically after 60 days.
Crash and performance reporting
The Google Play version includes Firebase Analytics from Google, which collects app usage and stability data under Google's privacy terms. The advertising identifier permission has been deliberately removed from that build.
4. What we do not do
- There is no advertising in the App Store and Google Play versions of the game, and no advertising SDKs in them.
- We do not sell personal information and do not share it for behavioural advertising.
- We do not build advertising profiles and do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not ask for access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location.
5. Why we are allowed to process this
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and free of faults (diagnostics), on performing our agreement with you (accounts, published worlds), and on your consent where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us.
6. Who else sees the data
We share data only with providers who run parts of the service for us, and only as far as they need it: hosting and storage providers, Google (sign-in and, on Android, Firebase), and Apple and Google as the stores that distribute the game and process any purchases. Payment details are handled entirely by the stores — we never receive your card number. We also disclose data where the law requires it.
7. Where the data is stored
Our servers are located in the European Union. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy in a portable form. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to privacy@isaevlabs.com — we answer within 30 days. To identify your data when you have no account, include the device identifier shown in the game under Settings. Deletion has its own page, with the full list of what is removed and how long it takes: Delete your account and data.
One thing worth knowing before you ask: worlds and creations you published are anonymised rather than deleted. The link between the content and your account is cut and the author stops being shown, but the world itself stays in the catalogue so that players using it do not lose it. Once anonymised it is no longer personal data. If a specific world should disappear entirely, remove it before deleting the account, or ask us.
If you are in the EEA or the UK you may complain to your national data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete; we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
9. Children
TearCraft is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to privacy@isaevlabs.com and we will delete it. Where a version of the game is offered to a child audience, we comply with COPPA and obtain verifiable parental consent where it is required.
10. Security
Traffic between the game and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to stored data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
11. Changes
When this policy changes we publish the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects what we collect or why, we will say so in the game as well.
